The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Foodhall

Foodhall is a cafe on a mission. Since it opened in 2015 it’s been bringing people together through food, music and art; reducing waste; and encouraging community engagement. It operates on a pay-as-you-feel basis and anyone can get involved – whether it’s cooking, serving or making. At night, the space turns into one of the best DIY venues in the city with bands and DJs performing regularly, helping support the daytime cafe operation. Foodhall's Lates programme of nighttime events is now IsoLates, a series of live streams, pre-recorded shows, mixes and playlists – see below.

And, if you can, please support Foodhall by making a donation. During the pandemic its volunteer-powered community is doing amazing things, providing food and support to members of the public, especially those most at-risk and isolated. Donate here to help fund essential items for food parcels and prepared meals.

IsoLates: Gracie T x Shauna

For the second instalment of its IsoLates series, Foodhall presents streams of mixes from DJs Gracie T and Shauna to get you dancing at home. Expect multi-genre pop bootlegs and house/techno bangers.
