Anomaly Life Drawing host classes that aim to spark new ideas and ways of drawing, by using artist references and set design to help you push your creative boundaries and experiment with shapes and forms.
Join them this this winter in Kelham Island, where there'll be a different set design and artist inspiration each week. At the start of each class, your host Liah will project images of the artist's work, talk a little bit about it and share ways that it could influence your drawings.
These sessions aren't tutored but don't let this put you off if you're new to drawing – they're a great place to start out with creative life drawing.
Materials supplied – including paper, charcoal, pencils, pens, etc.
Venue information
Head through the big red door across from Kelham Island Museum – ask in the Millowners Arms pub if you can't find it. You can buy food and drink from the pub. There are five free parking spaces on the right of the cobbled street if you follow it past the Bessemer converter (the huge black metal structure).
Covid-19 precautions:
Please wear a mask and sanitise your hands before using drawing material. Tables will be cleaned before your arrival and chairs spaced out as much as possible.
