Following last autumn's successful run of maintenance workshops, Foodhall is running a few more before Christmas to give you the opportunity to work on your own bike, fix any issues that have been bothering you or give you the chance to ignite those DIY bike maintenance skills.
Workshops will run from 5.30pm-8pm at Foodhall with the following schedule:
- Thursday 14th November > Bike setup, winter maintenance and puncture repair
- Thursday 28th November > Gears masterclass
- Wednesday 11th December > Brakes masterclass
Foodhall suggest everyone bring their own bike but they have bikes they can lend out for sessions if this is not possible.
The classes will run alongside their existing Build-a-Bike workshops (see separate listings) where they continue to fix up old bikes to get them back out into the community.
Suggested £5-10 donation per workshop. If a monetary donation isn't possible, please consider contributing to the project in other ways – with your time, knowledge, and/or skills.
These workshops require a minimum of 6 people attending in order to run. Please sign up for each (or all) workshop you plan to attend: https://forms.gle/M7ESs6L4Skyq2uqu5
