A Tudor beauty, Bishops' House is situated at the top of Meersbrook Park, on the Sheffield Round Walk route, with great views over the city.
Bishops' House is Sheffield’s best preserved timber framed building. It's charming, architecturally fascinating, and is also a museum, with rooms decorated in Jacobean period furnished from Museums Sheffield's collection. The building was inhabited for a number of generations by the Blythe family – farmers and leading scythe manufacturers in the area.
Guided tours at 11:30am and 1:30pm – no need to book, just turn up 5 minutes beforehand.
