Born on Sunday Silent is a Black British gothic horror short film based on the true story of Kai Akosua Mansah, buried in Sheffield. Adapted from Désirée Reynolds' short story, it follows student Abba-Yaa, haunted by the child spirit she is researching.
The film directed by Eelyn Lee will be accompanied by a discussion with writer Désirée Reynolds and gothic literature and horror film specialist Dr Maisha Wester.
