Artist Joanna Whittle invites you to create simple photographic blueprints through placing images and objects on cyanotype paper and use sunlight to create images.
You can bring in objects which you feel reveal your own relationships with the city, or draw images on acetate to create patterns and stories. Inspired by your work, Joanna will go on to create a series of ceramic pieces featuring the cyanotype images created, which will be displayed in the city centre.
This workshop will take place in Millennium Gallery's Activity Room.
This project is funded by Making Ways, a programme supported by Sheffield Culture Consortium through Arts Council England. This summer Making Ways celebrates visual art in the city with a programme of exciting visual art and engagement activities for everyone, including hands-on workshops, talks and art walks, all led by Sheffield artists.
