Fronteer is an arts initiative that seeks to instigate creative opportunities both nationally and internationally. Set up by Sheffield-based artists Michael Borkowsky and Sharon Mossbeck, Fronteer returns this November with its second annual Fronteer Open – an art prize with accompanying exhibition at 35 Chapel Walk.
The exhibition fills two floors of the gallery with artwork ranging from sculpture to prints to photography. There's a cash prize of £100 for winning artists, plus a year's free artist profile on the CuratorSpace website.
The judging panel this year includes award-winning artist and founder of Harrington Mill Studios Jackie Berridge, alongside Michael and Sharon. The panel will select one winning artist, while the other winner is decided by public vote in the People’s Choice Prize. Find out if your favourite artist is a winner and join in the celebrations at the prize evening on 6th December, rounding off the exhibition.
Friday 6th December, 6-7:30pm – free entry, all welcome
