Housewives consider themselves a genreless band. Championed by the likes of Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), Radio 3 Late Junction and experimental musician Charles Hayward, they play experimental, unpredictable and futuristic music.
The London 5 piece’s new LP Twilight Splendour is due out on the 22nd March and was written in Wetherspoons, cafes and anywhere away from their houseboats where they could find a permanent electrical supply. Swapping their guitars for midi equipment, Housewives journey through the possibilities of electronic sound, pushing the boundaries of what a band can do. Their kinetic live sets have cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in Europe.
Catch them at Picture House Social this March.
