Sheffield Theatres launch their Intergenerational Dementia Friendly Choir this September through to November, offering an exciting opportunity for both young people aged 10–14 and people living with dementia.
The new Intergenerational Dementia Friendly Choir is an open invite to join together people living with dementia and young people who would like to learn more and offer support. Free to attend, participants will be taught songs in a friendly, communal environment.
The choir will meet weekly at the Crucible on Saturdays 1:30–3:30pm, 3 September–12 November, ahead of a final performance on the Lyceum stage for an invited audience of friends and family on 12 November.
