The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

To mark LGBT+ History Month, Sheffield Libraries have put together an LGBTQ+ Children's and Young Adult challenge – a list of 144 books featuring writing by LGBTQ+ authors and about LGBTQ+ lives and stories, aimed at children and young adult readers, and their families.

The fantastic list features picture books, fiction, memoir, graphic novels and more. All the titles are available to borrow from Sheffield Libraries, or to buy from their partner bookshop Gay's the Word. See how many you can read by the end of 2021.
