Earlier this month photographer Stephen Marland and local history enthusiast Mick Nott led a free Photo Walk in Gleadless Valley, guiding participants as they captured the shapes, textures, shadows, light and life of the estate's remarkably green landscape and unique design.
See the results from the Photo Walk in this exhibition at the estate's awe-inspiring 1960s hill-top church.
Don't miss the free guided walks in Gleadless Valley the following day on Sunday 24 November. See more info about Sunday's walks and book your place – Estate Walk at 10:30am / Gleadless Valley Wildlife Trust's Nature Walk at 1:30pm.
While you're in the area, you can also visit Sheffield City Council's 100 Years of Council Housing exhibition in the Newfield Green Neighbourhood Office, 607 Gleadless Road, S2 2BT – more info.
