As part of Migration Matters festival, Foodhall is hosting an evening of talks and discussion about the politics of migration and what you can do to help end the violence done to some of the world’s most vulnerable people. And, of course, food.
Speakers including Stuart Crosthwaite, secretary of South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG), Robert Spooner from ASSIST and Nancy Esiovwa from Survivors Alliance.
Since it'll be a celebration of migration to and from our city, it'll also celebrate Sheffield's food culture through the dishes that have traveled to us from all over the globe.
Send Foodhall your fave vegan recipes (or vegan versions) from around the world. Even better – if you're free on 19th June and would like to volunteer to cook or serve your dish, then get in touch. Mark emails to email@example.com 'FAO Migration Matters Meal'.
Doors from 6pm, talks from 6:30pm, food around 7:30pm.
Foodhall's accessibility details can be found here.
