"Three lo-fi fiends descend on the ancient timber of Bishops House for a night of odd pop. Vocoders shall be venerated, loops smelted and saxophones tooted. All for the pleasure of the peasants."
You probably don’t need any more information after that description but just in case you’re still not sold, Sammartinio is Sheffield’s premier masked synth-pop artist. Appearing dressed in office wear and Mexican wrestling mask, often handing out lyric sheets to his captivated audience during performances, Sammartino passionately belts out his ‘hymns for the internet age’ creating an experience that’s equal parts disturbing, hilarious, and incredibly fun. He’ll be performing with Outdoor Scene and A Paranoid King in Bishops House, the grade II* listed, 16th century timber framed house located at the top of Meersbrook Park.
