The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Composer and sound designer Lee Affen talks about the main uses of sound in a theatre show – music, atmospheres, transitions. He’ll supply some atmospheric sounds that the participants can put to text, along with discussion on how sounds affect text. You'll be tasked to create a transition sound between 2 pieces of text, and learn the basics of Qlab.
