A unique programme of music and movement, inspired by the physicality of Roosendael’s Rotations, created by virtuoso recorder player, Tabea Debus and dazzling accordion player Samuele Telari, in collaboration with award-winning choreographer Sally Marie.
Featuring a new commission and works from giants of twentieth century music, the show will make full use of the intimate ‘in the round’ Crucible Studio theatre for its first ever performance before touring to the United States and beyond.
With music from Roosendael, Cage, Stockhausen, Feldman, and Sylvia Lim.
Presented by Music in the Round in partnership with the Young Classical Artists Trust.
This show is one of three concerts hosted by Music in the Round at the Crucible for one big day on 12 November. Others: Sir Scallywag & the Golden Underpants, and Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
