Gallery and social space Sidney & Matilda has teamed up with local artisans, artists, chefs, musicians and DJs for an alternative weekend of music, food, art and performances.
Entry is free, first come first served.
Craft beer, wine, prosecco, and punch will be available throughout the weekend alongside food (Saturday only) from Sheff De Partie.
Saturday sees a collaboration with young chef/immersive food pop-up party dudes Sheff De Partie. Expect a backdrop of live visuals and street artists and illustrators working in the Yard alongside beats a plenty and various drop-in performances throughout the day.
Kicking off a day of culinary treats and beats will be house DJs from 11am, followed by:
12-2pm – Abul Abbas. After a two year hiatus from Steel City, Abul is back to deliver a plethora of high quality selections from an extensive record collection spanning rare 70s disco cuts through to the soulful side of deep house and the odd club classic.
2-4pm – Clive. Providing your ears with an acoustic loop set, playing medleys from across Europe with a few cheeky surprises too.
4pm – Isaac Reuben. Beginning to catch the attention of DJs and producers in the house and techno scene, his tracks have been played at some of the best clubs across the world including Berghain, Blitz Club and Nitsa, while releases on the esteemed label Hotflush and Berlin-based Rhythm Nation records have demonstrated Isaac’s different styles, whether it be bouncy house or psychedelic techno.
Many more to be announced.
Sunday is the Hotwire Tramlines Courtyard Party.
Hotwire are teaming up with the Sidney and Matilda team to celebrate the Steel City's Tramlines weekend. The day will start with chilled disco and house vibes, slowly progressing through the day to minimal and reaching the very best in tech house and techno. Full lineup to be announced soon!
