A solo exhibition by Alex Farrar, which will see Bloc Projects flooded while sand-filled loungewear-clad figures lie immobile, pinned to fly-tipped furniture and refuse. Residues from previous exhibitions by Farrar will be requisitioned to complete the landscape of disaster.
Farrar is known for using exhibitions to create a dramatic, lyrical form in a shared space, and will here take 19th-century painter John Martin’s apocalyptical constructions as inspiration for a domestic catastrophe.
