Tae-in (played by Yoo Ah-in, from 2018's phenomenal film Burning) and Chang-bok (Yoo Jae-myung) run a humble business selling eggs, but the bulk of their income comes from providing spotless crime scene clean-up services to the criminal fraternity.
One day, they are told to take care of a kidnapped girl named Cho-hee (Moon Seung-ah), a bright, kindhearted 11-year-old who often takes care of her brother.
It's revealed she had been abducted instead of her brother, but because it has always been obvious for her to stand in for him, she keeps calm and reads the situation she is placed in.
Even when she sees Tae-in cleaning up brutal crime scenes, she keeps calm, and Tae-in starts to open up to her, but just as Cho-hee starts re-arranging his world, Chang-bok drops out of contact while collecting Cho-hee's ransom, and Tae-in has to deal with the situation alone.
A beautifully shot, bittersweet crime caper, telling a tale of how sometimes good people do bad things.
Screening as part of the London Korean Film Festival programme.
