White Denim are a Texas four piece who have explored a variety of musical avenues since they released their debut lo-fi punk EP Let’s Talk About It in 2007. Since then, the prolific group have ventured into the worlds of psychedelic garage rock, funk, jazz, blues and prog rock in a career that has included nine studio albums.
Described as “shaggy and wild eyed” by Pitchfork, their latest album Side Effects is the sound of a band having fun, full of hard hitting riffs and psychedelic breakdowns that take you from A to B in the blink of an eye, as if someone has cut and spliced together every classic rock album since the 1960s.
