Organised by recent graduate artists from Sheffield Hallam University, Zeitgeist is an exhibition of work by new Sheffield-based artists, reflecting on the changing world.
With the pandemic forcing many exhibitions to move online, this year's art graduates haven't had the same opportunities to share their work in person. The curators of Zeitgeist hope to provide an opportunity for recent art graduates to see people make connections with their work in a physical gallery setting.
The work on display explores ideas around the human condition, relationships, class, and craft. It tackles issues around digital technology and AI, consumerism and identity, and the impact that these have on the creative process and traditional craft practices.
Artists include:
Ellie Goodwin, Katia Greenwood, Courtenay Bed-Green, Emily Kempster, Gabrielle Holmes, Jack Hinson, Thomas Marriott, Luke Walsh, Molly Pemberton, Natassja Drobinski, Steven Wood, and Thomas Mills.
Open Monday–Saturday, 9am–5pm.
