All sorts of sights and sounds come out of Access Space, a venue perched right at the junction where art, music and technology meet.
Performances range from musicians who are big on international underground scenes to 'algoraves', a homegrown movement pioneered by Alex McLean that sees live coders create music for people to dance to. And if you want to get experimental yourself, they run workshops in everything from coding to obscure forms of dance.
The building itself is part of our Sheffield street art trail – it's wrapped up by a piece called Particles by France-born, Sheffield-based Florence 'EMA' Blanchard. The blue-green design is speckled with cellular and diamond forms.
