The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Amelia and Carly

Our Favourite Places would be nothing without our contributors — a massive thanks to all of them!

Amelia Oates and Carly Harrison are two students at the University of Sheffield. They joined us on a placement in spring 2023.

Together, Amelia and Carly researched and wrote a Bookshop Tour of Sheffield – a guide to the city's community of independent bookshops and booksellers. Available now in print and online.
