Between the railway station and the city centre, the Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ) is a particularly creative corner of Sheffield. In summer 2022, cultural venues, artists and community groups are coming together in the area for Out & About, four family-friendly weekends celebrating creativity.

Each Out & About weekend will take inspiration from a different theme. At the heart of each weekend will be the CIQ Square in Pinball Park (opposite Site Gallery and the Workstation). Head down to this outdoor space to take part in hands-on workshops, discover new music and artworks, join in tours, and more – all for free! And while you're there, tuck in to food from a range of local stalls.

Beyond the CIQ Square, a bunch of cultural venues will also host creative sessions and showcases. Look out for the free Shapes of the CIQ colouring-in trail created by us at Our Favourite Places too.
