The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Summer holiday picks

School's out!

Here's our roundup of some of the activities and events for families, kids and young people taking place in the city's museums, galleries and heritage sites over the 2019 summer break – from puppetry at the theatre to space-themed crafty fun to hands-on videogames workshops.

For more tips for adventures with young'uns in Sheffield, see our Sheffield for Tots tour, including a mini railway, an ice-cream parlour, and more.
