The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED.

Open Up Sheffield is one of the largest and most successful open studio events outside London, showcasing the creative talent in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire for 24 years.

The event, which takes place in May every year, features nearly 80 artists working everything from watercolour, oil and acrylic painting to jewellery, ceramics, textiles, crafts, wood, glass, photography, printmaking, digital and mixed media.

As part of this year's Sheffield Showcase, a selection of the artists that took part in this year’s Open Up Sheffield event will feature in an exhibition at DINA.
