Sheffield Pop Weekender

Macho Music is Stupid organise gigs and club nights in Sheffield with a focus on all things indie pop. Save the date of the August bank holiday weekend for two days of sheer pop loveliness, as they return with their 2023 Sheffield Pop Weekender.

Saturday's lineup will take to the stage at Sidney + Matilda, while Sunday will be at Shakespeare's.

On the Friday evening there'll be an opening night disco party with Offbeat DJs, 9pm–1am at Sidney & Matilda.

Saturday's lineup at Sidney & Matilda: The Just Joans, Fightmilk, Panic Pocket, Breakup Haircut, ¡Ay Carmela!, All Ashore!, Dream Phone, The Verinos. Followed by Nightowls DJs til late.

Sunday's lineup at Shakespeare's: The Catenary Wires, Living Body, Vanity Fairy, Mayshe-Mayshe, Count Jaakola, Avital Raz, Vom Vorton, Alexander Christopher Hale.
