You Don't Own Me: Tales of Resistance is an online programme of art, music and film created by women and people of marginalised genders.

DINA, in collaboration with long time partners Reel Femme and Boxie, presents an exciting online programme this March curated by, created by and celebrating women and people of marginalised genders.

The programme:
6 March, 8pm – Boxie will platform a selection of songwriters and instrumentalists navigating making music during the pandemic, finding ways to tell their stories, resist, rebel and thrive during the new musical landscape.

8 March – DINA will reveal a new mural they've commissioned by Zoe Genders to celebrate International Women’s Day, outside their new space in Fitzalan Square.

12 March, 8pm – Join a networking event online and chat about themes surrounding the festival or just say hello. Boxie and Reel Femme will be there.

13 March, 8pm – Reel Femme curate a selection of short films celebrating themes of resistance, closing with a Q&A. All films directed by women and people of marginalised genders.

One ticket will get you access to all of these events. Tickets are available on a sliding pay-what-you-can scale.

Sheffield General Cemetery

A hillside spot for both the living and the dead, containing stories of wars, epidemics, floods and more between 1836 and 1978. Today it's rich in history, wildlife and architecture. Look out for upcoming gigs, film screenings and exhibitions.

Cafe #9

Our idea of neighbourhood cafe perfection: excellent coffee, a wood-lined interior, lots of plants, chess, crosswords, ace music, warm cinnamon rolls, and friendly faces.

Andy Cropper

Bus stops, tram tracks, alleyways. Andy Cropper takes these ordinary, unremarkable, utilitarian places – the sorts of places we pass every day – and turns them into quietly, almost eerily beautiful oil paintings.

At the time of writing Murder on The Dancefloor has had a whopping 708,168,780 plays on Spotify. With a little help from film Saltburn, the song's resurgence has cemented Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s status as a modern disco icon. Expect new songs and hits.
