The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

Exposure Photography Festival is a weekend dedicated to adventure photography.

Through a dynamic mix of talks, hands-on workshops, and a gallery, Exposure is here to educate and inspire whether you're a climber, an aspiring professional or a passionate photography hobbyist.

The gallery will showcase a rich collection of work from professional photographers and talented community entrants alike – from deeply personal projects capturing the raw journey to Olympic dreams, to striking prints from distant landscapes. Experience a special immersive installation that transports you from the heart of Sheffield to the wild Welsh coast.

Workshops are designed for everyone from beginners learning the basics, to seasoned creatives looking to push their vision further. Highlights include sunrise shoots, landscape sessions in the Peak District, and creative technique classes all led by passionate, experienced photographers.

On Friday night, join in the launch party with DJs, drinks and chance to view the exhibition.

And on Saturday it's Speaker Night. An intimate evening of inspiring talks from standout voices in the photography and publishing community. The Bhaji Shop will be serving food.
