Location Portrait Photography with Jess Petrie

Expand your creative portrait photography with a day-long workshop based in the beautiful Peak District.

Learn to capture natural portraits using the landscape to frame your subject and the available light to make stunning images. Location information will be available nearer the time.

This workshop is organised by Sheffield's independent camera shop Harrison Cameras, with tutor Jess Petrie – a portrait and wedding photographer based in the Peak District

Who it's for: intermediate photographers looking to learn portrait techniques

Camera need: any DSLR or mirrorless camera. A portrait lens would be beneficial, but a 50mm focal length will be fine.

Sheffield-born Derrick Greaves (1927–2022) was one of the most acclaimed British painters of the last half century, first recognised in the 1950s as a 'kitchen-sink' painter. This exhibition is the first retrospective of his work since his death.
