The Sheffield culture guide written by in-the-know locals

PARA VIVIR: The Implacable Times of Pablo Milanés

A striking cinematic portrait of Pablo Milanés, a major voice in Cuba’s revolutionary cultural movement, directed by his adopted son Fabien Pisani, filmed during his final years in self-imposed exile. Pablo Milanés reflects on the Revolution to which he and his generation of artists were once devoted. The film combines his cinematic portrait with interviews with fellow luminaries such as Serrat, Chico Buarque, Harry Belafonte and Fito Páez.
