Gather in the atmospheric Samuel Worth Chapel at Sheffield General Cemetery for a cosy weekend of films and festive sweet treats.
First up is the family-friendly stop-motion animation Nightmare Before Christmas, following Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king Jack Skellington's adventures in Christmastown. Saturday evening is the turn of Die Hard, the story of New York City policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) up against a group of terrorists (including Alan Rickman) in a high-rise on Christmas Eve. And on Sunday evening, it's the turn of 1946 heartwarming black and white classic It's a Wonderful Life, following George Bailey (James Stewart) as he's rescued from a suicide attempt by angel Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers) who shows him what his town would look like had he not existed.
The bar will be open selling local ales, wine, hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout.
