Are you interested in live sound, amplification or running DIY events?
Hosted by Key of She, this workshop will cover the basics of live sound engineering:
- Introduction to gear (cables, mics, amplifiers)
- Introduction to analogue mixing desk
- Setting up a PA
- Equipment care and maintenance
- Hacks to get you through DIY situations
This workshop is really tailored to people with little to no experience, looking for an opportunity to learn the basics in a welcoming + low pressure environment! Bring a notepad for note-taking, but organisers will also provide any writing materials in case.
The workshop will be 2.5 hours long, with a 15 minute break in the middle.Hot and cold drinks are available to buy at Gut Level.
HEADS UP:
Gut Level does not have car or cycle parking, but there is city parking a walkable distance away, and cycle parking at the Crucible. Disabled parking can be found near the Crucible, and Gut Level has step-free access. Please factor this into your travel time so that the workshop can start on time. Info about the venue.
