PSYCHEdelight Theatre Company of Sanctuary invite refugees, sanctuary seekers and people who have lived experience of displacement or forced migration to join them in the Makerspace at Portland Works for HomeScreen.
This installation workshop provides refugees and asylum seekers the chance to make a short film about their homeland, allowing participants to virtually return to landscapes, villages, cities they cherish but can not physically return to.
Using a green screen studio and video footage of their country as a backdrop, along with props and music, you'll create fun and realistic short films so that you can see yourself traveling to your favourite places.
There's places for up to 50 individuals or groups over the three days. If you want to take part, please contact homescreenfilm@gmail.com.
