On November 25th from 7pm, Key of She invite you to celebrate the musical community they've created through three years of improv jams, workshops and sound baths.
Through these events, many projects and collaborations have been born, and for their first Key of She Showcase they welcome the wider Sheffield community to come and celebrate them with them. There'll be live performance sets and some improvised jams. There’s also going to be delicious hot, vegan afro-fusion meals served 7–8pm from the brilliant UrbanFusion.
All are welcome in the audience, but women and marginalised genders only have been invited to perform, as this is the focus of Key of She's work. The improvised jams on the night remain open to anyone from this group who wants to bring an instrument to be part of the improvisations! You can decide on the day to be part of them.
Tickets are pay-as-you-feel, free, or, if you like, can include a meal. All proceeds from the event will contribute to the future of Key of She, so they are able to continue to provide free musical improvisation workshops, jams and sound baths to women and marginalised genders in Sheffield.
Crookes Social Club is wheelchair accessible.
