Lovell is the musical project of singer-songwriter and guitarist Hannah Lovell. She combines grunge, garage rock, pop-punk, and folk. In her lyrics she covers everything from synthetic fibres, to witches from the Middle Ages, to subatomic particles – so there should be something for everyone.
Similarly, Rhiannon Scutt fuses folk, rock, pop and electronica, taking influence from the angst of PJ Harvey and the introspective melancholia of Big Thief’s Adrienne Lenker.
Wolf Peaches is a queer pop/folk artist based in Sheffield creating politically-fuelled, reflective songs.
This trio of acts will be playing over two nights at Nether Edge’s cosy Cafe No 9. Expect to see them each performing on one another's songs in a supergroup-of-sorts kind of way.
