Returning to The Greystones once again, John Doyle, John McCusker and Mike McGoldrick are three multi award winning giants of the folk world.
Individually, McGoldrick is a master of flutes, whistles and Uilean pipes. McCusker is a fiddle player who has worked alongside Paulo Nutini, Jools Holland and Paul weller. Doyle is a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist who’s played an essential role in the ongoing renaissance of Irish traditional music.
Combined, they’ve shared stages and studios with everyone from Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler to Joan Baez and Linda Thompson. They play traditional, contemporary and original jigs, reels, ballads and more that have seen them receive rave reviews across the country. As The Herald said: “it takes a lifetime of playing to sound as effortless as these guys.”
