Delicious Clam

Music City is the project of Irish musician Conor Lumsden. You may know him from his powerpop band The Number Ones, or as a guitarist working with artists including A. Savage (Parquet Courts), Jack Cooper (Mazes/Ultimate Painting) or Paul Collins (The Nerves/The Beat).

Inspired by the pop classicism of Big Star, the heart-on-the-sleeve rawness of The Replacements and the glitter of T-Rex, Music City have been praised by Pitchfork and Iggy Pop, despite only releasing two songs so far.

Support comes from local Ween enthusiasts Big Jilm and Sheffield’s newest post-punkers Desired Effect.

There’ll be a charity raffle and Christmas karaoke. All proceeds from the show will go towards Medical Aid for PAlestinians (MAP).
