No Peeling deal in quick-fire, kaleidoscopic noise-punk that barely pauses for breath. Self described as a “Pals do punk with klangs, thwacks, bloops, whoops and stories,” they sound like a clown falling down the stairs – in a good way.
Covering topics such as the joy of petting dogs and power mad high vis wearers, they use pummelling drums, twitchy guitar and abrasive bass to back oddly sweet sing-song vocals. It can appear like collapse is seconds away, when in fact No Peeling are totally locked-in to each other.
With their longest song clocking in at 1:24 they’re a blink and you’ll miss it tour de force.
