Contemplative, cinematic and spiritual music from a six-piece ensemble led by trombonist Pierre Flasse. Pierre’s music draws inspiration from the music of Dhafer Youssef, Philip Glass and Daniel Herskedal.
Based in Manchester he creates music and sound for theatre as well as performing around the UK across a range of music from jazz to traditional Indian music. The meditative and reflective music created by this ensemble was released as two singles in 2023, and pulls together some wonderful creative musicians from across the north, including Andrew Barney (keys), Maria Rocha (acoustic/electric guitar), Daniel Springate (bass guitar/cello), Will Shaw (drums) and Tom Drew (clarinet/tenor sax). Together they generate beautiful sonic landscapes, gentle riffs and soaring melodies.
