The beautiful and historic Victoria Quays is a relatively peaceful patch of Sheffield, hidden away on the edge of the city centre alongside the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal. A handful of cafes and bars have livened up the canal basin a little in recent years. There's the Dorothy Pax, with its fantastic gigs and sun-trap seating area. Then there's True Love's, serving up delicious pizzas and cocktails, and also sprawling out to the waterside. And there's Victoria Junction, a cute cafe that does a cracking brekkie. Now, the Quayside Market is joining them on the cobbles.
Quayside Market takes over Victoria Quays on the second Saturday of each month.
Head down to the quayside on market day to discover all kinds of creative and crafts stalls. You'll also find a tasty array of street food, plus craft beer and cocktail bars. And to top off the atmosphere, live music and DJs.
