Join Sheffield Chamber Orchestra for their spring concert.
Naomi Atherton, a past section winner of the Young Musician of the Year competition, will be joining the orchestra to play Mozart's famous and instantly recognisable 4th Horn Concerto.
Following this she'll delight the audience with Glazunov's idyll for horn and strings, a rarely performed gem.
The programme starts with Manuel de Falla's well known Ritual Fire Dance taken from his ballet El Amor Brujo. A lively, passionate, and overtly Spanish piece.
It concludes with Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony, which evokes the wild and romantic landscapes of that proud country.
All conducted by Laurence Perkins, who debuted with the orchestra in this role for their Masterworks concert in 2023.
