Jazz at The Lescar welcomes back the guitarist Stuart McCallum, playing an intimate solo set.
Mixing jazz, alt folk, and ambient electronica, Stuart is best known perhaps for his association with the Cinematic Orchestra (including the albums Ma Fleur and Live at the Albert Hall, and their award-winning Disney soundtrack The Crimson Wing) and his duos with singer Rioghnach Connolly (The Breath) and guitarist Mike Walker. His music is multi-layered, atmospheric, subtle and truly beautiful, mixing acoustic and electric guitars and pedals to create a unique sound-world.
Following our return to The Lescar a couple of weeks ago, this promises to be a gig full of extra meaning as we bring live music back to the backroom at our main venue. Please join us!
Tickets available in advance and on the night, subject to availability. To book, email lescarjazz@gmail.com.
Doors 8:15pm, music 8:45pm.
