Fans of a cappella music are invited to have a "Most Wonderful Time” at a concert of sparkling festive favourites by women’s barbershop chorus Sheffield Harmony, featuring special guests, Lodge Moor Children and Youth Choir.
Sheffield Harmony will perform a range of much-loved Christmas classics including Do You Hear What I Hear, White Christmas and It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, all in the close four-part harmony style.
The first part of the concert will include some traditional barbershop pieces as well as arrangements of songs by Take That, Joni Mitchell and a stunning setting of local singer Kate Rusby’s beautiful Underneath the Stars.
The lively and dynamic Lodge Moor Children and Youth Choir, made up of singers aged six to 16, will be joining fresh from their recent audition for Britain’s Got Talent. They’ll be performing some of their favourite arrangements including the swing classic Chatanooga Choo Choo and a seasonal Nutcracker Jingle.
Concert-goers are guaranteed beautiful harmonies and festive cheer.
Refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies will be served at the interval.
