A takeaway haven for those on the hunt for a healthy but tasty lunch.
Fanoush has a simple menu: you can choose either falafel or halloumi (or both if you’re very hungry), whether you want it in a wrap or salad box, then add grilled aubergine or cauliflower, lots of fresh salad, pickles, sauce and hummus.
The falafel is lovely – crunchy and freshly made throughout the day – but it’s the pickles and the sauces that make it for me. I recommend asking for extra chillies and lashings of tahini.
Fanoush marks one of the first points of call on what we like to call the Sheffield Food Mile, running just south of the city centre along London and Abbeydale Roads. It's proven so popular since it first opened on London Road in 2011, that there are now three across the city.
In the city centre, you'll find Fanoush on 100 Pinstone Street, S1 2HQ.
Up in Broomhill, Fanoush is at 208 Whitham Road, S10 2SS.
