Union St is a co-working space in the middle of Sheffield’s city centre, designed so that freelancers can come together in a creative and supportive environment.
Beyond office hours, Union St becomes a venue for all manner of events – from Girls with Drills woodworking workshops and African drumming classes to yoga sessions and clothing exchanges. Check Facebook for upcoming events.
In addition to the freelancers, classes and workshops, Union St also has a daily rotation of pop-up cafes open to the public, offering something different and delicious every weekday, 11:30am-2pm, at a completely reasonable price. Regular local food traders at Union St include Tonco, with their hunger-busting salads and sandwiches packed full of flavour and creativity, and Pie Eyed, who serve a proper pie and mash, peas and gravy, with offerings such as cheddar and red onion or beef brisket and chorizo.
Coffee and pastries, meanwhile, are served every day Monday to Saturday and come from one of our top coffee picks, Motore, and Forge Bakehouse.
Whether you’re taking a moment to sit down in their cafe space or grabbing something to take back to your desk, you can treat yourself to something colourful and fulfilling every day.
Check the Union St site for an up-to-date list of each day's trader, and keep an eye on @UnionStCowork on Twitter for daily menu updates.
