DJ Flight is widely regarded as one of the originators of drum'n'bass and a pioneer of dance music. As a DJ and radio presenter, she became the first woman to host a national drum'n'bass show, where she championed music from the underground and a whole host of eclectic producers from the start.
She is also the co-founder of EQ50, a collective of women addressing inequality and representation in dance music. In 2020, the collective launched the first ever drum'n'bass mentorship programme for women and non-binary people.
To celebrate her 25th year in the world of dance music, she’ll be playing at Plot 22 in Sheffield this November, joined by Charla Green, Mr Dubz and DJs Reburf and Lunar.
