Sheffield based singer-songwriter Adam Hopper and his band The Wimps play a blend of mellow alternative pop and anti-folk. Drawing inspiration from 1970s art-rock, 1990s lo-fi and Americana, their sound occasionally moves from intimate folk passages to weirder, psych inspired freak outs.
Following their 2025 EP Remember To Have Fun and a BBC Radio 6 Music session with Riley & Coe, the band released their debut album earlier this year - recorded at Sheffield’s own Delicious Clam Studios. Expect off-beat charm, vulnerability and toe-tapping tunes.
