Based on the 1987 novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada, All of Us Strangers follows Adam, a screenwriter who lives a lonely existence in contemporary London.
One evening in his near-empty tower block, he has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbour, Harry, which pierces the routine of his everyday life.
While a relationship develops between them, Adam discovers something quite strange and beautiful upon visiting the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents appear to be living - just as they were on the day they died, 30 years earlier.
All of Us Strangers examines grief, and love, and the impact it has on how we move through the world around us.
