Delivery are the latest in a long line of great Australian post-punk bands. Formed in lockdown, the Melbourne five-piece specialise in scrappy guitar interplay, jerky rhythms and infectious riffs.
Lyrically, much of their focus lies on the greed of modern society and the difficulties faced by many living in capitalist systems.
Their debut album, Forever Giving Handshakes, is due to be released in the UK on 19th May. The NME praised the record for its ‘thrilling immediacy’ and ‘snotty contempt for accepted authority’.
Support comes from Manchester’s Honk and Sheffield’s Knorke.
