Join Anomaly Arts Collective for their Drop In and Draw sessions on the first and last Friday morning of every month.
Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking to explore your creative side, these sessions are a perfect way to unwind, learn and create, in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
What to expect:
Each week, you'll focus on a different theme to keep your creative juices flowing:
- Drawing in Nature: capture the beauty of the natural world, from intricate leaves to sweeping landscapes
- Portrait Drawing: learn the fundamentals of capturing the human face, focusing on proportion, expression, and technique
Mark making:
Experiment with different tools and materials to create texture and depth in your drawings.
Bring your own project:
Maybe you’re already working on a creative project and want a space to work from and get some creative advice.
Pay as you feel:
Anomaly believe art should be accessible to everyone. While the sessions are free to attend, they suggest a donation of £6 to help cover materials and support the programme.
Some materials are provided, but please bring your own if you have them available.
Learn new skills:
Each session is guided by Liah or Sarah who will offer tips, techniques, and feedback.
Meet like-minded people:
Connect with other art enthusiasts in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Relax and unwind:
Take a break from your routine and enjoy two hours of creative relaxation.
No prior experience necessary. No need to register in advance – just drop by when you can, 10am–12pm.
